The Story.
Innovator(s)
The aim of this project is to create a platform that provides student-athletes and coaches with the resources they need for athletic and academic success.
We developed a cybersecurity plan for a new youth sports team website template. This site will serve as a key resource for K-12 teams to raise funds and offer college preparation guidance. The comprehensive cybersecurity plan identifies potential cybersecurity threats and details appropriate security measures to counter them. It ensures the protection of personal information and the integrity of the site.
The K-12 Cybersecurity Group will manage security and recommend overall improvements to the site. This group would gain invaluable hands-on experience in cybersecurity management under the guidance of professionals. We have outlined the process for selecting, training, and overseeing this group, and how their roles will be integrated into the larger cybersecurity plan.
In addition to the cybersecurity plan, we created a youth sports team website template using Wix website builder. Each component of the website is supported by solid reasoning from actual K-12 athletes.
