Problem
The problem we're trying to solve is how the aSTEAM Village can build better relationships with local schools in order to enhance STEAM programming.
Solution
We will solve this problem by getting aSTEAM partnerships with schools in KC area. When partnered, the aSTEAM Village will teach their program at school events.
Target Market
The main people affected by the problem we are trying to solve are the students in Kansas City, Missouri school district, charter schools, and alternatives schools.
Societal Impact
aSTEAM Village offers a service that reflect the trajectory of technological careers in future. By introducing student to steam programing it will put them on a path to future success.
Next Steps
Our next step is to get aSTEAM Village sustainable partnerships with local schools.
Reflection
We have been able to sharpen our research and communication skills. It has also given us a chance to learn more about how STEAM programs can effect our community.
Use of Backer Contributions
We are not currently accepting contributions from our voters. This pitch is part of the ProX competition for $5,000. The organization will use the funding to support schools by developing STEAM based presentations and community events.
