The Story.
Innovator(s)
Team Gibbles: The Art of the 30-Second Video: Tally A, Christyn H, Lillie A, La'Shay S, Braylen B
Problem
Our subject matter expert, Sebastian Smith, a freelance writer and video producer, challenged us to learn more about commercials in the '50s and '60s and compare them to current commercials
Solution
For our project, we researched commercials from different decades and learned about how commercials have become less serious. For our showcase, we will create a humorous commercial about a food product.
Target Market
Societal Impact
After viewing our showcase, our audience will learn more about commercials and our product.
Next Steps
We still need to create our commercial.
Reflection
All of our team members have contributed to the project. We divided work evenly. We've struggled with getting materials for our commercial and communicating as a team. We've learned how to talk more and communicate better.
Use of Backer Contributions
We only ask that people attend our showcase on June 29 from 9:30-10:30 and 12:00-1:00. Business partners interested in working with our students on future projects, please contact our Director of Community Partnerships, Jake Wingo, at jake.wingo@raypec.org.
