The Story.
Innovator(s)
Kansas City’s problem is it faces financial constraints in funding sustainable projects. Sustainable transportation projects can cost millions or even billions. The city does not have room in its budget to invest into the Office of City Engagement to have more forms of renewable transportation. My solution is for the city to pursue more federal grants dedicated towards sustainable practices, investing more into the Office of City Engagement and slightly cut police and fire departments budget to finance sustainable transportation projects. If the city invest more and cut the departments budget the Office of City Engagement will have more money. My main audience is to the organizations that are associated with the city to fund the Office of City Engagement and the police and fire department. If my solution is followed the next step would be to save the money on a profitable sustainable transportation projects for the city.
