The Story.
Innovator(s)
SKC's mission is to provide nonprofit organizations with business and development expertise, empowering them to focus on their missions. Support KC was created to address a common challenge for nonprofit organizations – the mutual demand of mission fulfillment and business efficiency.
Problem
The problem is lack of presence in the non-profit community because of inattention to strategy and it impacts their ability to bring in new clients.
Solution
Our solution will take three steps to revamp SKC’s presence on Facebook. This includes regularly posting engaging content, collecting client reviews, and launching a targeted Facebook ad campaign. This will allow SKC to reach more nonprofits in the community and help them increase their overall presence.
Target Market
SKC and nonprofits that aren't aware of SKC are the main people affected by the problem. They aren't able to bring in new clients and both groups are missing out.
Societal Impact
It will be easier for nonprofits in Kansas and Missouri to find SKC and benefit from the services they provide, leading them to focus on their missions.
Next Steps
Posting 1-3 times a week on Facebook, collecting at least 10 client reviews over the span of 5 weeks, and $2,000 for the ad campaign for one year.
Reflection
I have learned about time management as well as getting feedback and applying it to my work.
Use of Backer Contributions
We are not currently accepting contributions from our voters. This pitch is part of the ProX competition for $5,000. We would use it towards Facebook ads.
